The compulsory conference has been adjourned until Monday, and in the meantime effortg to bring about a compromise will be considered at a strikers' meeting to-morrow. Tho beer supply is practically exhausted, and bottled liquor is selling at fancy 2>rices. Stiff picketing locally, and the co-operation of brewery employees in other States, precludes the {replenishment of supplies.
