COCKSEDGE.—At his residence, Elizabeth street, Timaru, on October 8, James, the dearly loved husband .of Mary A. Cocksedge; aged 76 years'(late of New Zealand railways).—Funeral Timaru, Thursday POLLOCK.—On November 9, at his residence, 6U Castle street, Robert Pollock; aged 75 years.
Announcements of Births, Marriages, and Deaths sent by post for publication must bear the signature of our agent, a clergyman, or a J.P. Charge for these, 3s each prepaid, or 4s if booked, when not exceeding five lines, and 6d for ».ach line over flvo. "In Memoriam " notices are inserted at the same rates, but when verses are added an additional charge of 6d per line is made for each line pi space occupied. Notices of Death and Private Interment without referenoe to either time or place of interment: prepaid 5s Sd, booked 6s 6d. Notices of Death and Funeral, either where the funeral notice is a separate advertisement or is pirt of the death notice: prepaid Bs, booked 9a. In computing the lines of spaoe to be occupied, advertisers are notified that they can reckon Biz words to the Hμ. All worda over 30 are, therefore, charged at ti for each six words. Notifications of Births, Marriages, and Deaths appearing in the Daily Times are inserted also in the Witness without additional charge.
