ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting of the Dunedin Centre was held last week. The treasurer reported the receipt of a donation from the Balfour Patriotic Association. The secretary reported that donations for the purchase of material for Red Cross work, had been received' by Mrs Livingston froni the following:—Mesdames G. Frier. G. Melville, Hutchison, Livingston, W. Speight, C. Speight, Messrs W. Speight, C. Speight, R. Dawson, and R. Greenslade. During February the district nurse made 143 visits, and 41 transport cases were attended. .A considerable amount of correspondence was received, and accounts amounting ,to £30 6s were passed for payment. Tho committee of the centre is preparing for the shipment of hospital clothing, etc., by an early steamer.
