There passed away last week, at Littlobourne, a very old resident of Duncdin—Mr William Anderson. Mr Anderson was tho son of Mr Jamee Anderson, master mariner, and was born at Ix>wer Harbour on October 5, 1846, being one of the first white men horn in that district. Ho was an early pupil of the Otago High School, and a student of Otago Universitv. For many; years he followed the teaching prciegtioo.
