The above-mentioned Board Hereby Gives Public Notice that at an Ordinary Meeting of the said Board, duly called and held on the 12th day of January, 1915, it PASSED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION -.— Resolved by way of Special Resolution, to operate as a Special Order pursuant to " The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act, 1900," and "The Dunedin Distract Drainage and Sewerage Act 1900, Amendment Act 1902," and "Tne Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act, 1900, Amendment Act 1905," and "The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act, 1900, Amendment Act, 1906," and " The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act Amendment Act, 1907," and "The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Acts Amendment Act, 1909," and "The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Acts Amendment Act, 1911," and "The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Acts Amendment Act, 1912," and " The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Acts Amendment Act, 1913," and "The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Acts Amendment Act, 1914," that the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Acts, and in particular by Sections 56 and 70 of "The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act, 1900," and the amendmerfts of those sections, do borrow, in addition to the sum of £575,000 for which debentures have already been created, the further sum of Ten Thousand Pounds (£10,000), by the creation and issue of Ten (10) Debentures of One Thousand (£1000) Pounds each, bearing interest, payable half-yearly, at the* rate of five pounds (£5) per centum per annum, and that such debentures shall have a currency of ten (10) years, from the first day of July, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fourteen, and that the principal and interest be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, in the City of Dunedin; but every such debenture is to contain an intimation that tho place of payment of such debenture and the coupons thereto may bo altered to any branch office of the said bank at London, Melbourne, or Sydney, or in New Zealand, conditional on the holder of the debenture giving to the Board at Dunedin six calendar months' written notice of tho altered place of payment desired; and, further, that all such debentures shall be secured upon the Board's General Fund, and upon all rates leviable by tho Board upon the City of Dunedin and the Suburban Boroughs. And it was further resolved that the requisite public notice of the foregoing Resolution to operate as a Special Order, and of a MEETING of the Board on the 9th day of FEBRUARY, 1915, at 7.45 o'clock p.m., to CONFIRM the same be publicly notified.
