MONTE CARLO REOPENED
A SUBDUED AIR APPARENT. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) LONDON, January 25. The Casino at Monte Carlo has been reopened after five months. The familiar types have returned to the tables—the, Englishman in the check suit and soft collar playing as though roulette were his religion, painted females playing furtively but feverishly, and rich Russians. But over all there is a subdued air.
