WANGANUI, November 21. Advice has been received at Elthom that the EgmOnt Box Company's No. 2 mill, south of Taihape, and two cottages and two tents were totally destroyed by fire on Thursday. The. liro was caused by sparks from burning bush on an adjoining pro- ' perty. The Heavy stocks held by the com* r pony will, it *9 stated, enable the director* to continue supplies without difficulty. Theproperty was insured for £700 in the Sim - office. ' . i-1

At 2.10 p.m. yesterday the City Fire ' Brigade responded to a call by tele- t phone from Caversham, but the fire which led to the alarm being given was cum- - "i; pressed before its arrival.
