(Received Nov. 22, at 4 p.m.) Mr Fisher, speaking at the Lawn Tennis Association's luncheon on the occasion of the annual inter-State championship, raised loud cheers by referring to Wilding's presence at the front. (Received Nov. 22, at 3.46 p.m.) The Norddeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung protests against the German newspapers demanding the death of M. Delcasse's son and others unless the treatment of Germans abroad is ameliorated. It adds that war is waged by Governments and not by individuals. The Christian la,w of love to enemies still exists. SEVERITY AT VIENNA. BRITISH PARTICULARLY AIMED AT. VENTCE, November 21. (Received Nov. 22, at 3.45 p.m.) An official statement has been issued in Vienna that, owing to the wretched position of Austro-Hungarians in England and elsewhere, the treatment of alien enemies in Vienna will be much more severe, particularly the 500 British.
