PERSONAL.
At the meeting of the Council of the Clydesdale Horse Society at Dunedin on Thursday the secretary as instructed to draft a letter of sympathy to Mrs Dahlenburg and family on their recent sad bereavement. The late Mr Dahlcnburg, of Waikouro (Southland) was an enthusiastic supporter and member of the society. The following appointments of teachers have been mado in the Otago district:— Mr Hu'gh M'lntyre, sole teacher, Matakanui; Mr John Graham, fourth assistant, Caversha.m; Miss Elsie j. Crawford, mistress, Teancraki; Miss Mary N. How son, sole teacher, Tawanui; Miss Jane F. Johnston, sole teacher, Kuriwao.
