A BAD, SEASON. It is generally agreed upon 111 at this month and the next constitute the worst season for the skin. It is 'difficult to get a wound to heal, and ail the winter attilictions seem to get worse at this time. If you have any skin trouble, get some Ked Cross Ointment at once. It positively cures sores, chilblains, scalds, burns, inflammations, dialings, pains; it will remove all skin trouble in the quickest possible time. Keep a box of Red Cross handy. 2s 6d— all chemists. By forcing native labourers in the island of Principe, in Portuguese Wrct Africa, to carry cloths covered with glue on their backs when working in places infested with flies, sleeping sickness has been successfully combated in the island. The glue is dark, -and is the same colour ae the native's skin. Watson's No. 10 is a little dearer than most whiskies, but is worth the money, Advt.
