The Woolwich Arsenal strike is ended, the men having agreed to accept the result of the Government's Commission of Inquiry.

In the House of Commons, Mr Asquith-* announced that a court of five persons, with Sir George Askwith as chairman, was inquiring into the Woolwich strike. There was no objection to the man Entwistle (over whom the strike arose) resuming work pending the report of the court.
