SYDNEY, December 4.
Tlie heat wave is becoming more intense. Amongst many high temperatures registered were those at Bourke and Jerry's Plains, each being U6deg in the shade.
In Queensland the registers in the Long, reach district ranged from 120deg to 124deg.
Bush fires are prevalent everywhere,
