RUMOUR OF HIS DEATH.

(Received Oct, 10, at 7.5 p.m.) There are unconfirmed rumouTs that Sir George Reid, who is en route for Australia, died while passing through the Red Sea. (Received Oct. 10, at 11.30 p.m.) Inquiries in various directions, including the Federal departments, failed to disclose any foundation as to the rumour of Sir George Roid's death.
