SATURDAY AFTERNOONS AND SUNDAYS. OVERNIGHT HOURS AND WAGES. Pices Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, SYDNEY, October 10. The Waterside Workers' Conference negatived a motion in favour of not working between mid-day on Saturday and Monday morning, carrying an amendment that, subject to locil conditions, no work be done after mid-day on Saturdays, It was resolved that members of the union, when Tequired to work after 11 p.m., be allowed to finish the hatch, In that case the men are to bo paid for not less than four hours' work. If the work is not finished within four hours, then the men are to be paid up to 6 a.m.
