ffßOil Odß Ows CORBESPOIJDENT.) GREYMOUTH, September 1. The Kokatahi, Arahura, Hahihari, and Kuhiara butter, and cheese factories will commence operations .about the first of next month. It is expected that the new Watiaroa and Waitaha factories will a'so be ready to start this season. It is estimated that this factories will pay out to t'he suppliers about £35,000 this season. Trout are reported to be very plentiful in the Hokitika River at present. Though there are no reports of any anglers having been successful in the vicinity of the whitebait eitchers' tranches below the railway, bridge, the trout are to be seen daily in larjte nunibors as they chase tho whitebait and herrings.
