WATTLE DAY
. OBSERVANCE IN SYDNEY. Prats Aseociation—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, September 1. (Received Sept. 1, at 8.25 p.m.) To-day was observed as Wattle Day. A goodly percentage of the people in the streets wore sprays, and the flower was also displayed on the motor cars end other vehicles. Bunches were sold by a bevy of young ladies in aid of the free Kindergarten Union.
