The executives of the Federation of Trade Unions and Miners' Association at Johannesburg have decided that the recognition of the association must be unconditional. The mine-owners' attempt to prescribe conditions regarding the constitution and the conduct of the organisation is described as "insolent arrogance." Hence the situation on the Band again causes anxiety.
