HAMILTON, July 26, A married woman named'.Corncille, aged 37 years, a Belgian, is supposed to have thrown herself off the Hamilton railway bridge into the Waikato River last night. The distance i 6 100 ft. She had been ill for a long time. She- denied her body nourishment, believing that starvation would cure CHRISTCHURCH, July 26. James Rogers succumbed in the hospital to the injuries sustained 1 by him at Lytic! ton from a fly-wheeL . July 27. _ Nows was received by the ! police this morning that the dead body of George Brdderick Corner, a chemist, belonging to Wellington, was found on the bench at Little Raikaia yesterday afternoon. The deceased liad been out shooting with a pea rifle, and apparently his death was accidental.
