Science Sifting# tolls of a diphtheria epidemic from bread which has been reported by Dr Moreau to tho Paris Academy of Medicine. Such a source of infection had been little suspected hitherto, but 11 cases with four deaths scattered in three communis to a distance an great as three and three-quarter miles have been traced to the customers of a single baker. The disease had not been previously reported in tho vicinity since 1905.
