DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE.

There was a firm demand for mo6t lines yesterday although the volume of business transacted was below the average. Electrics bad buyens at 3s 7d, with seliers at 4s 2d. island Blocks continued on offer at 36 yd and Manuherikias at 6s, without declared buyere. A sale was effected in Waihij at £2 7s_ 9d, and further lotd, were in demand at this price with sellers at £2 Bs. Waihi Grand Junctions firmed to £1 2s and £1 2s 3d, buyer and seller respectively. Talisman Consolidated were offered at £2 Os 6d, with buyers at Is less- Roas Goldfields had sellers at 9s Id, and Progress Mines at 9s 6d, with a buyer of the latier offering Bs. A 6ale was reported in Union Steaim at £2 3s 3d, and further lots were in demand on 'Change at £2 .3?, with sellers at £2 3s 6d. Mosgiel Woollens had firm buyers at £3 lis, but sellers declined to quit for less than £3 12s 6d. New Zealand Drugs continued on offer at £2 Ss 6d, with a buyer at £2 4s 6d. SalesWaihi, £2 7s 9d.
