Here is a fine recipe for coughs that we published several times last winter, mid which hundreds of readers used with great sucoess. It is more effective than anything you can buy already i.repared, and for 4s you can get enough of tho essential oil to make hall a pint of the best cough medicine obtainable. From your chemist secure loz " Parmlnt" (Double Strength), take this home, and add to it quarter-pint of hot water and 4oz moist sugar; stir until'dissolved. Take one tablespoonful four times a day. This will givo instant relief, nid will usually cure the most obstinate cough within 24 hours. It is splendid, too, for Influenza, Asthma, Whooping Cough, Croup, and Chest P^yns. It stimulates the appetite, and has a slight tonic effect-, which makes it an ideal remedy for the home, (iood either for children or adult 6.
