SUPPOSED MURDER
KETCH OWNERS MISSING. EVIDENCE OF A TRAGEDY. Prtu Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. PERTH, July 24. The ketch Wander II was found abandoned at New Derby. The owners (MacGuirc and Bieos) and a companion named Newman, who were engaged in a prospecting tour, are missing. It is supposed that they have been murdered by natives. Their personal belongings were strewn about the decks, and there were bloodstains on the hatches and on a couple of heavy native sticks. The last entry in the log is 25, which mentions that four natives were aboard.
