AUCKLAND, July 23.—Arrived: Star of Australia (11 p.m.), from New York, via Australian ports,—July 24.—Arrived; Suffolk (4.20 p.m.), from Liverpool, via Durban and Hobart. WELLINGTON, July 24.—Sailed: Remuera (4,40 p.m.), for London.
The Kaituna is to load a cargo of coal at Newcastle this week for Lyttelton. Tho Arawa arrived oarly yesterday -morning from Oamapi to ]oad Homeward cargo. She will probably sail this evening for northern loading ports. The Taviuni saifcl last evening for Westport, via Oamaru and way ports. 'Hie Tyser liner Star of Australia arrived at Auckland on Tuesday night from New ifork, via Melbourne and Sydney. After discharging nt northern ports abe is due hero about tho end of next week for final discharge. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Ruahino is. expected to leave Wellington to-inonw to continue the discharge of her Home cargo. . Tho Tyeer liner Makarini is duo at Lyttelton to-day from Wanganui to loadmcat, wool, and grain for London. She will sail on Monday for Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington. The Hercules completed the discharge of her Port Chalmens cargo last evening, and will come up to town to-day to land the baknee of her hardwood cargo. ' Tho Aparima is expected to leave Calcutta about Wednesday for Dunedin, via Auckland and way ports, and is due hero about tho middle of' September.
The ICaitangata. will sail this afternoon for Greymouth, where she will load a cargo of timber for Sydney and Newcastle.
The Maitai resumed her commission yesterday, ajid steamed up to town in the afternoon. She will Bail this afternoon in the Mokoia's run to Auckland, via the usual East Coast ports. Dredge 222 is at present undergoing alterations to her dredging ladder and well in the small dock, which sho will vacat? 011 Wednesday." Her place will be taken by tho JCnrow, which will undergo survey and overliaul.
The Warrimoo to docked on Wedneeday ofr cleaning and painting, also for repairs to her propeller. She will vacate the dock today, and the keel blocks will be raUid to permit the Indrabarah to be dooke4 to-morrow ntoming.
Tio Waitomo arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday morning from Oamaru, but was unahle to disoliarge the balance of cargo in time to sail last night for Newcastle. Sho will probably get away this afternoon and will load at Newcastle for Bluff, Dunedin, and Oamaru.
The Mokoia arrived yesterday afternoon from Auckland, via East Coast ports. She will proceed to Port Chalmers to-day and will bo laid up for a, few weeks, during which she will undergo survey and overhaul.
