ANNUAL MEETING. The- annual meeting of tho Mornington. Bowling Club, held last evening in tho club's pavilion, was attendod by about 25 members. Tho annual meeting of the oompany was first held, tho chairman of directors (Mr J. G. Sawell) presiding. In presenting tho report of the board of directors, tho Chairman stated that the past yiar bad been a successful ono, in that ihey liad been able to pay all accounts and hat a a email balance in hand. Davidson; auditor, Mr G. M. Grigg; secretary, Mr H. Davis; assistant seoretary, Mr W. Neill; treasurer, Mr W. Easton. Ho had carried out his work in a very satisfactory manner, with tho result that they now tad a very good .green. Mr Taylor had decided to relimjiwtb his position, and the important dutoi of appointing a new greenkeeper would fall on the incoming committeo. He hoped the position would be filled as satisfactorily in tho futnro as it had in the past. The incoming 00mrnittee would also have to consider the matter of drainage, which had bccomo neceseary. Towards the clofio of tho year ithad come to the knowledge of the committee that a member had been laid aside bv sickness and ho was pleased to state that an appeal had resulted in the sum of £6 17s being collected from 18 members, and £5 5s had been received towards tho fund from the Otago Club. , , .. The question of tho number of selectors to be appointed for the ensuing year camo up for discussion, and it wag decided, on the motion of Mr T. Coull, that the Match Committee for tho coming season consist of two members. The following office-bearers were cleeted: —President. Mr J. G. SawoH; vice-president,' Mr T. Coull; Match Committee, Messrs J. H. Thomson and W. S. Neill; delegates to the centre, Moffiis P. Carotin and T. Coull; General Committee-Messrs Napier, Davidson. G. liiddtll, Neil!, W. Liddell, Carolin, and T. Whelan; Instruction Committee— . Messrs Carolin, Boiting, and Penny; Wednesday Match Committee, Mr G. Liddell; Social Committee—Messrs G. Liddell, Neill, Euston. and H. Hardy. 011 the motion of Mr Davidson, a voto of sympathy was passed to Mr Kennedy in his illness. A hearty voto of' thanks was passed to the late secretary (Mr Blyth) for the efficient manner in which ho had carried out his duties. The Chairman presented the priies won during the past season, the list boing as follows: —Cliampionsliip singles, Mr J. Hoigate; doubles (lion-prizewinners), Messrs W. Liddell and J. Swanston; champion rinkMessrs H. Pickford, J. H. Hardie, J. Holgatc, and A. J.
