AGGRIEVED STOKERS.
TROUBLE OX THE WAHINE. (Peb United Pbess Association.) WELLINGTON, July 23A section of the stokehold crow of the ferry steamer Wahine, about seven or eight in number, stopped work on arrival here this morning. They complained of a lack of hot water for washing. They had given notico in due form, so when roe ship tied up on her arrival from Lyttelton they just stepped ashore.
No trouble was experienced in filling tho •mens places, as thero are a number of unemployed about the wharves almost every day. The vessel got away for Lyttelton this evening at the usual time.
