GOOD TEMPLARY.

The Pioneer of Dunedin Lodge of Good Templars held its weekly session in xhe Social Hall, Old Fire Brigade Station, on Tuesday evening. The Chief Templar (liro. H H. Johnson) had the pleasure of presiding over a very large gathering of members and visitors. One member was readmitted and another initiated into the lodge. It was decided to postpone the quarterly election of officers for one week in order to hold a send-off to Bro. D. C. Cameron, who is leaving io take up his duties iis dominion organiser for the order. At this juncture the meeting was thrown open for members' friends to take part in tho programme, which was a very lengthy one. Tito following is a list of tho contributors:—Piano solos, Mr R. Clarkson; recitations—Sister L. Clarkson, Ralph Vivian, Herbert Vivian; songs—Sis. J. Clarkson, Sis. Dallon, Bro. Dalton; flute eolos, Master Basil Clarkson. The accompanimonts wore played by Mr It. CI arkfoil. Refreshments were handed round by an energetic band of young members. A veto of thanks was passed to Slis. J. Olarkeon (V.T.) and liro. K Cameron (V.D.I for arranging such a splendid programmo and also for their hospitality. Bro. Cameron, in a brief response, thanked the performers for their assistance. Bro. 11. M'Kinlay (Lily of the Valley) and Bro. Little (Invercargili) responded to the vote of thanks to the visitors.
