Tho Canadian Pacifio Railway Company has just anounced tihat it will begin construction shortly of the longest tunnel yet. The tunnel will bo built through Kicking Ilorse Pass, in the Rocky Mountains, will be 16 miles long, and' will cost £3,000,000. It will take seven years, it is estimated, to build it. The great hoje through the mountain will be four tniles longer than the famous tSimplon tunnel through the Alps. Railway officials assort that the construction of this' tunnel will eliminate many milt* of dangerous *nowsheds.
