MINING.
The postmaster at Alexandra telegraphed yesterday morning that the Molyneux River had risen to Bft lib above Uio normal mark. The weather was dull.
The secretary of tho Electrio Company received a message on Saturday from the master of tho No. 2 dredge, Stating that owing to heavy rains in tho interior the river had risen rapidly and the dredge had been compelled to shut down temporarily.
