DAIRY PRODUCE PRIZES. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 11. The various sub-committees entrusted with the arrangements for the Dominion Agricultural and Pastoral Show to be held during the second week of December, in order t-o synchronise with the Auckland Exhibition, are displaying energy in their attention to details. The show dates are December 10, 11, 12, and i 3.

A decision of importance to the dairying industry has been arrived at by the General Committee in that prize money amounting to £60 will be offered for competitions in factor.v butter and prize money amounting to £40 for cheese. There will be two classes for each. In butter, class C will bo for one box of butter suitable (or export (561b), open to all factories in the dominion, the butter to be taken from the ordinary parcels passing. into the grading store or from-; butter already in store on a date prior' to November 20, 1913. The actual dat&< will be fixed and a selection made by tile officials appointed for this purpose and without notice to the exhibitors. A sum of £30 will be divided pro rata amongst the six exhibitors scoring the highest number of points. Class D is for one box of butter suitable for export (561b), open to all factories in the dominion, to be manufactured under the most favourable conditions and forwarded to one of the Government grading stores, marked with the registered number of the factory and branded not later than November 22. The sum of £30 will be divided pro rata amongst the ax exhibitors scoring the highest number of points in the cheese competitions. Class A will be for one crate of large white full cream New Zealand Cheddar-shaped cheese suitable _ for export The (mm of £20 will be divided pro rata among the four exhibitors scoring, the highest number of points. Class B •will be for one crate of large coloured full cream New ZeaJand cheese suitable for export. The sum of £20 will be divided pro rata amongst the four exhibitors scoring the highest number of points.
