Ho had' drawn the attention oTtho Minister, of Justice to the matter, but tho. only answer was that inquiries would be made. Tho Commissioner of Police was also' written to, and he replied that nothing ■ bo done till tho appeal was disposed of. The federation felt that the employers 'wore wilting to allow matters to be delayed as long as possible, and it - was getting restive under such an unsatisfactory position of affairs.
