Captam Whiflen, against whom a serious charge, was made by Senor Araaa, will give evidence next week in connection with the rubber scandals. SENOR, ARANA'S VERSION. LONDON, April 11. (Received April 11, at 9.55 p.m.) Senor Arana gave evidence that neither he nor .the English directors >were awaie of the outrages before an article was published, and even then they did not credit the statements because they were suspicious of their origin. He now believed that murdew were committed.
