RESULT OF THE ELECTIONS. REFORMERS WIN. Presa Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. , LONDON, March 7. The municipal reformers were successful at t.he triennial London County elections, gaining five seats. (Received March 8, at 0,10 a.m.) The Progressives made a vigorous effort to oust the Reformers, alleging that the tramways had been endangered and that the Reformers had not fulfilled their promises of economy. There were 11 women candidates, but none of them was elected. The Reformers gained nine seats and the Progressives two, making the strength of the Reformers 67 and that of the Progressives 51. Mr Cyril Jackson was defeated for Limehouse, but he is expected to be elected as an alderman.
