POULTRY FARMING.
NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP ASSOCIATION. (Per United Press Association.) NELSON, February 25". The largest and most enthusiastic meeting of poultryraen known for many years was held lust evening, and unanimously decided to affiliate with the New Zealand Championship Association just registered at Wellington. Mr E. Gallichan secretary of tho new association) was present, and explained the proposed working of the championship body. There would be championship shows at Wellington and Christchurch and four provincial championships—one for Otago and Southland (combined), one for Canterbury, one for Wellington, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Marlborough, and West-land (combined), and one for Auckland. Mr Ga-llichan will visit other centres, and the new association will be in working order next show seaion. Three Wellington societies have affiliated and Nelson makes a fourth, l'icton, Blenheim, and other societies are favourably disposed.
