GRANGE CLUB.
Tlio annual meeting ot Iho Grange Cricket Club was held in the Masonic Hall, Kill); street, hst evening, when Mr A. Resticaux presided over a small attendance of member?. . The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the annual report (alroad.v published) and balance sheet, congratulated the club upon the success attained on the playing field, and upon its satisfactory financial position. Tho winning of the slueJd was, in his opinion, umloubtcdlv duo to good fielding by members, particularly the younger members, of the senior eleven. Brilliant catches were nndc, dismissing first-class baUmon, and tile value of oxcollence ill this department of the game had been olearly shown in the result of the contest for the premiership. Particular mention should be made of W. Malcolm, a very Young ''senior," who had succecded, by reallv good lilting, in heading tho averages" for the season. Wit-h regard to the financial side, the club had begun the year with a debit balance of some £15, but owing chielly to tho energy displayed by the sccreUry (Mr 11. Resticaux) and the treasurer (Mr L. Chadwick) this deficit had been wiped oil and replaced by a small credit hilancc. Unfortunately Mr Chadwick was joining another club this year, but the value of his work as treasurer could not be overlooked. Mr C. Chaclwiok seconded tho motion, and offered his congratulations to Messrs Resticaux and A. Downcs on their completion of 25 years of active service in the cricket field. Mr Chadwick also thanked Mr C. Brundcll (soorer) and Mr Brecn for j valuable assistance rendered to the club during many years.

A cup (to bo held for one year) for the best batting average, was handed to Mr W. Maloolm, and a presentation of a Glndstono bag was tnado to Mr A. Downes l>v his fellow-members. Tho Chairman announced that silver club badges, .presented by Mr W. Best, bo given to members of last year s I' irst and to a number of the most promising juniors, and, further, that Mr Best had provided a hat-band . for each member of the dub.
Tho opening practico was fixed for Satnrlay, 28th inst., and it was decided to lay lown a oonereio practico wicket. Tlireo new monitors wcro elected.
