MINNEAPOLIS, September 5.
Tlio Socialists having caused riots in the streets, the' police < wero summoned and charged them with batons. Scores were injured in tho melee, and had]to be removed to the hospital. There wero seven arrests. Tho police also suffered heavily.
Tho riois were the outcomo of the pro. hibition of socialistic meetings in tho streets ot the city. ,
