The monthly meeting of the Ocean Beach Domain Hoard w«w held yesterday in l-ho Town Hall, there being 1 present—Messrs J. 11. llunccck (oluiinnan), W. Burnett, J. E. White, <l. 1). Shacklock, G. Hedges, J. 11. F. llamel. and A. 11. liridgcr. COIHUMI'OXDBiCE. Messrs Momly and Stephens wrote enclosopinion in ro the board's leasing powers-Noted. The Auditor-genera! returned the board s balance sheet duly certified to.—Received. 'the Town Clerk, St. Kilda, wrote protesting against tho removal of sand from the sandhills at St. Kilda.—Received. H. S. Allan, on behalf of John M'Donaid, wTotoin replv to tho board's Idler drawing tho board's attention to thetindermining of the adjoining lands by tho removal" of sand from his property at St. Kilda. Hit stated that the :ond had been removed without Mr M'Donald's authority, -lteccivcd. Mrs 1. M. Whceley, St. Clair, applied for permission lo ply for hire with two donl;cy» on the beach at St. Clair.—Request declined. The Clerk of the Cavorsham School Cotrmitteo wrote applying for the free use by the pupils of tho sckol of the St. Clair laths daily lil! 9 a.m. and from 3.30 p.m. and all day on Saturdays.—Chairman to act after consulting the caretaker. The Chairman slated he had received, a letter from Uw Wallrcc County Council asking for information as to the tast means of arresting the marement of sea sand. He bad replied supplying the necessary information.— Chairman's action approved. CEKERAL. Four tenders were received for painting tho St- Clair bath buildings, the lowest being accepted. I Accounts totalling £130 lis 9d were passed for payment. A voto of .thanks was passed to tho Reserves Conservation Society for the gift of trees for planting on tin; domain
