CHIUSTCHURCH, September 5. After a hearing lasting throe days the jury found a verdict for plaintiff for £775 in a- case in which the D.I.C. sued the Hank of Australasia for damages caused through water leaking into the plaintiff's cellar. The evidence was chiefly given by architects, engineers, builders, geologists, and other exports. The point at issue was whether the water came from defendants' artesian well or was natural 'Subsoil water.
