(Received Feb 22, at 0.35 a.m.) The steamer Attia, from Fiji, reports sighting a quantity _ <d wreckage on Middleton Reef, consisting of the stern portion of what appeared lo be a scow, The wheel was standing. The Atua steamed close in, but there were no signs of life. It is considered probable (hat the wreckage Monged to the scotv Whangaron. which was abandoned last vear off Lord llowc Island.
