AMICABLE AGREEMENT, (Ptn United Pniiss Assocution.) WELLINGTON, January 12. At tho conference held to-day to discuss the dispute between tho federated Coolu and Stownnls' Uuiim of N.Z. and the shipping companies and owners, practically all tlio claims were agreed to. The ' terms of thu agreement are as follow:— Minimum wngcn: Chief stewards, £10 jior mouth; chief cooks, £10; cook steward with assistant'or assistants, £10; cook steward, when no assistants are, em- . ployed, £11 10s; attiatants, £4 10s.
