Tho batting avcrago was won by W. l'ateiron with 13.6 for IS innincs. C. Lax, with an average of 20 for eight innings, W. Malcolm, \V. Holloway, and F. \\cston showed promiso during the soason. Tho bowling averages included R. Eogarvv. 21 wickets for 6.2 runs per wicket; A. King, average 8.9 for 10 wiclcct.s; and G. Cropbie, 36 wickets, average 14.6. Tho Third Eleven performed fairly well, winning nine matches out of 19 played. It. Ml secured tho batting avecago with 18.3 for 12 innings. I'. M'Gregor, A. Keast, W. Clydesdale, and V. Miller were also u-eful in this department, Michael led in the bowling list with 30 wickets at the cost of 5.4 runs per wicket, J .Bond Iring a gr.od second with 20 wickets and an avexago of 8.7. The Fourth Eleven had a fairly succcssfnl season, winning seven matches. Tho majority of tho members were very young.

Tho Wednesday team performed very well, winning the majority of tho matches. W. Butter, with a batting average of 17.5, and bowling 37 wickcts, average 5.7, was a very great help to tho team.

A. Downce was again selected as a representative of the Otago team against Canterbury, this being his twenty-fourth apimranco agairisi Canterbury; while W. Malcolm and R. M'Millan found places in tho junior representative team. A. Restieaux and W. Butter were selected for tlio Wednesday representative team. During til so,if on centuries were compiled bv L.
