At the- monthly meeting of tho council of tho Eugenics Education Society thoro L were present—Dr Benham, Drs W. BathI gate, E. Siedebcrg, M. Macdonald, and W. I. Will, tho Rev. G. Knowles Smith, Messrs ■ Bedford, Flamank, and Grinling, Mes-lda:nc-s L. Harris, \V. A. Moore, A. H. JlGrinling, and tho secretary. Tho resignation of tho Rev Canon Cur-zon-Siggsrs from tho vioa-prosidency, on account of over-pressure of other work, was Teccivcd with regret. " Tho correspondence included a letter from tho London Society extending a welcome to any Now Zealand member who may be able to attend the International Eugenic Congress in July, 1912. It is exptctod that royal patronage will be accorded to tills congress, while leading personages from Germany, Franco, Italy, America will take part in it. •Jho London Society has elected to its council as representative of the New Zealand Society an enthusiastic cugenist in Ik* person of Mrs Percy Harris (sister-in-Iw of Mrs Leslie Harris, of Dunedin).
