WOMAN'S BODY FOUND.

EVIDENCE OF FOUL PLAY.

CHPJSTCHURCH, February 8.

Tho dead body of a woman about 33 years of age was discovered in a right-of-way off Cashel street shortly after 7 o'clock this morning. The clothing was disarranged and abrasions on the body pointed to foul play. It is understood that the post-mortem examination will reveal that poison was administered to the woman. The contents of the stomach will'be analysed. The police state that the body was certainly not in tho right-of-way at 2 a.m. to-day, and that it was probably placed there after life was extinct alter 4 a.m.
