SALE OF SHIP'S FITTINGS.
Messrs Thomas Patorscn and Co., Vogel street, report having hold a most successful sale of ship's fittings, etc., belonging to the Union Steam Ship Company. The sale was held at Port Chalmers. A very largo crowd of bujers and onlookers were present, when the whole of the lots offered met with very keen competition, and wore sold at prices which were highly satisfactory to tho vendors. Every lot was cleared. A largo deckhouse was secured by a lucky purchaser for £15 10s, the Bitumache enamel was scoured by the City Corporation. Taken as a whole, tho sale was a complete success. Very keen competition took place over the saloon deckchairs (over 100), most of which wore secured by one buyer.
