TECHNICAL CLASSES ASSOCIATION.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Board of Managers of tho Dunedia Associated Technical Classes was held yesterday, and was attended by Mr G.' M. Thomson, M.P. (chairman), and Messrs P Goycn, G. C. Israeli D. T. Fleming, Jainea -Mitchell, T. Scott, ond the Rev. P B. Fraser. . t The Education Board 'forwarded for the consideration of the manager of the classes a copy of a memo, from the Education Department .in connection with the request that tlie department should sanction the giving to scholarship holders the option of attending the Dunedin Technical School during the currency of their scholarships.— 'The letter was received, and the secretary's proposed reply to the board was approved of. ' . , . The Education Department intimated that the number of managers of the Dun. cdin Af-socia'.bed Classes for" the current year had Been, fixed as follows:—Otago Education Board (£200), six managers; 6ubsoribcrs (£150), four munngers; Dunedin City Council (£100), three managers;—total, ■15 managers.—Received. The Works Committee reported that arrangements had been made with Mr Sligp for printing tho prospcotus; th'at in order to make a satisfactory, job it was necessary to plaster the oroposed diningroom; that the committee had had two small "g.>3 stoves fitted' up in the dressmaking room; that the director had authorised to arrange with Mr Marlow. for the erection of benches and cupboard alteration in chemistry room, also for a cupboard for mining-room.—The report was adopted. \
