_ Mr R. H. Webb, solicitor, of Wellington, is on a visit to his father, Mr Herbert Webb, of this city. At Victoria House, Christchurcb, on Tuesday evening, presentations were mado to Mr ,J. White, prior to Iris departure for Dimodin. A pair of brushes, mounted in ebony, and enclosed in a leather case, wero prosonted by the assistants in the dress department.
