John Sautes presided over a good muster of members. Bros. Gcddts, (M.U.) and M. Johnson (Druids), I both encored, provided the musical items, j after -which tho A.D. called on the Secrejtary (P.D.P. Bto. Gibb) for the results of the tournament. P.A. Bro. F. C. Smith 1 and Bro. J. Oasscrlej were found to be' I equal with 7 points each, andin the playj off Bro. Cassewoy succeeded in getting homo first, and was presented with a very nice pipe in case, whilst P.A. Bro. W. Madigan was the winner of the booby prize with 2 points. Hie Prince of Woks Lodge wero tho winners of the tournament with a narrow margin cf one-seventh of a point on the average per player. N. 6. Bro. A. I Wilson .responded for the M.U., and cheers I wero given for tho winners and for the | respective lodges, and a most enjoyable j evening was concluded by all the brethren I singing the National Aothom. . .

The fortnightly mooting of the Good latent Ledge was held on Tuesday evening, A.D. Bro. J. Moyle presiding. An official visit was received from tho District Presidents of Ncs. 1 ami 2 Districts. After the ordinary, business had been transacted the usual Druidic toasts were proposed and honoured, the toast to the D.P. being responded to by Bro. Robertson (No. 1 District) and Bro. Hudson (No. 2 District). V.A. Bro. Wilson (Lily of the Valley) and Bro. Walker (Linden) resoonded on behalf of the visiting brethren. During the oven,'inig'songs and recitations were contributed ;i>y Bros. M'Cann, Wilson. Thumson, ami M'Lean.

Tho Lily of the Valley Lodge held its :usual fortnightly nicotinic on Wednesday evening, A.D. Bro. Morris presklhrg over a large attendance of members. The members present had a very pleasant and ehjoyab.o evening in a card contest. Tho keen interest in the work of the lodge by the young members is having 'good resulfa, their attendance being of tho highest Ol'dor, wllicll speaks volumes -for'the'early training tho boys received whilst members of _ tho Juvenile. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Enterprise Lodge was held on Thursday evening, when there -was a fair attendance of members. A.D. Bro. Prow presided. Visitors present were D.P, Bro. Hudson, P.D.P.'s Bros. Orchard and Logic, sen., and Bro. Wilson.- . Ona member was added to the roll, tho officers carrying out the ceremony,in a"veTy impressive•; manner.' The syllabus item, "Has the Syllabus'been' Successful," provided tho members with opportunity to. express their opinions, and all seemed to .hold that success has been the result cf tho labours of the committee entrusted to carry out the syllabus durinc tho winter. The secretary was requested to forward to the relatives of the .Late Bro. Stewart a letter of condolence with theni m their recent ead bereavement, A.D Bro. Collier presided over a fair attendance of members at the ordinary nxetiirg of Linden Lodge. Tho lodge" went into Jnonrnmg for the loss of the late.'Bro J.'. Qlcugh, sin., who was an honorary member of the lodge since its' inception; and had occupied tho various chairs for several tonms, and also that, of trustee and auditor. After transaction of necessary business the lodge adjourned out of respect to his memory.
