Mr Romisdn, speaking on behalf of- tho firm, remarked on the coedwork <lo„o by Miss Mitchell, and said he rogretted parting, as ho would eeriainlv miss her. .Air llarbott, foreman, in making the presentation on behalf of tl-n employees, expressed fho good feelings which existed between Miss Mitchell and the -employee?, and wished her everv success jn her future life. On behalf of Mis-. Mitchell, Mr Phillips suitably responded. Refreshments ivcro banded round, and tho simnng of " Aukl lang syne" closed the proceedings.
