Last batiirday a pleasant gathering took Place at tl w factory of J, Romison luH l Lo., iianovcr street, whin Miss Mitchell, llio accountant, was presented with a silver teapot from the firm and a. loa'service from the ompoyeos. Mr Romisdn, speaking on behalf of- tho firm, remarked on the coedwork <lo„o by Miss Mitchell, and said he rogretted parting, as ho would eeriainlv miss her. .Air llarbott, foreman, in making the presentation on behalf of tl-n employees, expressed fho good feelings which existed between Miss Mitchell and the -employee?, and wished her everv success jn her future life. On behalf of Mis-. Mitchell, Mr Phillips suitably responded. Refreshments ivcro banded round, and tho simnng of " Aukl lang syne" closed the proceedings.
