_ W'ANGANUI, November 17, The Wangamii agricultural show was opened to-day in glorious weather. The entries constitute a record, and, in the opinion of the judges, the quality, taken al! round, is of a high order. The show of dogs is admitted to be the best yet seen in the Dominion or the Commonwealth. I'or the first time a representative show of harriers was made, dogs oomiug from the Auckland, W'aikato, Hawke's Bay, Egmout, and Rankitikei Hunt Clubs. The cattle classes are very strong, the beef sections being the best yet seen here. The dairy classes are also well patronised. Tito pure urea sheep classes were a-ll'good, and the jttdgo declared the fat sheen section to be the best he had seen in either island during 25 years' experience.
