♦ ■ I The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flow, off on Saturday last a raco from Amfcerley, an air-line disianco of 221 miles. Mr Finch, of the Bank of New South Wales, who liberated tlio pigeons, wired as follows:— I "Liberated at 11.15 a.m.; light north-west wind." A strong south-west wind was blowing at Studholme Junction, aind the birds had tho wind against them to Dunedin.'- One hundred'pigeons, representing 20 lofts, competed. Tatterslield's Master Swinger (time, 6111-3 Wjinin; velocity, 927 yds 2ft 9in) 5 E. J. Reeve's Lancewood (time, 7hrs 6Jmin; velocity, 023 yds Oft lOin) ... 6 _Next Saturday's raco will bo down from Kaitoke, on tho Wairarupa line.
