The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for tho United Kingdoip is 1,720,000 quarters, and for the Contnient 1,705,000 quarters. Tho Atlantic shipments wore 320,000 quarters, and the Pacific 55,000 j quarters. Silver is quoted at 23{d ixxr oz. November 16. Messrs Park, Reynolds (Ltd.) yesterday offered by auction Craig's property, allotinctit IB and part of 19, Rothesay, containing 2 roods 36.5 (jolos. The sections are situated at the corner of Main road and Castle, street, near Ravonsboiirno, and were disposed of for £850, Mr 801 l rcis-teri-iig the only bid Messrs Ewing, Kruscr, and Co. report having sold, on account of Mr E. 15. Hayward, his summer residence situated at Waihola, at a satisfactory figure to Mr Stephenson, of this city. Fohbuhy Park Sections. Yesterday Messrs Alex. Harris and Co. offered by auction the remaining sections held by (he Forbury Park Land Company. Thei'C was ;i fair attendance at the room's, and the bidding, if not spirited, was at least satisfactory.
